Yes, in each of the past two years gas prices here in Virginia also dipped below $3 per gallon, but that happened between Thanksgiving and Christmas – not before Labor Day! So, here’s my picture book of the underlying story.

Which means we must be saving a lot of money. What are we doing with it? Buying new cars?
